ABOUT US
Our story starts here...

Ashley and Tristen Long's story began with the hard work and talent of Lois Krone. She originally owned their 3 acre farm on Highway 14 and her legacy lives on each day. Lois planted many of the flowers you see on the farm, and even hybridized some varieties to make her own custom flowers! There are over 700 existing perennial plants on the farm to
date. The Long's are blessed and honored to continue to grow her plants and add
their own to this every growing garden.
Tristen and Ashley purchased this property in October of 2020 and quickly saw a huge
opportunity to spread the beauty around our local area. The two have added over
500 flowering bulbs in 2021 and have plans to continue planting specialty cut flower
varieties for decades to come. These cutting flowers are used to make farm fresh
bouquets during the active growing season. As Ashley carefully harvests each variety at
dawn and dusk, customers can expect a long vase life from these beautiful Beloit blooms.
Along with fresh flowers, they offer a delightful selection of gift items and fresh eggs in
the Long Stem Flower Studio located in the heart of the farm.
The Long's lean on Jesus each day for strength and guidance as they try to
be good stewards of their slice of "Heaven" that they have been blessed.
"For we are only on this earth for a short time before we join our Lord and Savior
in paradise; we see God's love and provision each day when we step outside. He has
chosen us to care for this property for a short while, and we will do our best for Him."
Tristen and Ashley take care of Long Stem Gardens with their 3 year old daughter Aubrey Ella, and 6 month old son, Jaylen Jireh. Come see their farm today!
